Preparation Day Oct 22
I was so excited to go to Antigua for our prep day instead of shopping for missionaries. We stopped at the Swiss Cabana cafe for sandwiches, then went to the wood factory where I found some beautiful-enough-to-eat apples.
Instead of just driving by the beautiful La Merced old church/convent we went inside. The courtyard would have been beautiful in 1767. The rain didn't detour us much.

Family visit Oct 08
We enjoyed a short visit from Tex & Anne Johnson from El Salvador. We had lunch then the kids stayed with us while mom and dad went to the temple. It was short, but sweet to have family visit.

September 2008
Just thought you may be interested in the difference at Iximche after the season of rain. It is very green compared to before.
Is this little boy and mother cute. The missionaries loved talking with them while getting their shoes polished at the central in Antigua.
Another view from the Santo Domingo ruins at Antigua.
We loved a quick visit from Dana Willis in September.
